this should work, but doesn’t really. What you need to do is a Firefox hack i found here.
What you need to do is to paste this:
<Param name=”hl” value=”en”/>
into the google.xml file in C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins. Its a little tricky, and if it doesn’t take, you’ll have no google search box in firefox, but it works.
Another workaround is to simply search from here:
http://www.google.co.il/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&hl=en
to force the language on google.
To use other languages, you simply use one of the IOS 639-1 language codes instead of “en”.
